I would most definitely recommend APS. They enable the production of concise reports, but I think the feature that trumps all others is employee self-service. Employees can monitor their human resources information themselves, which our employees truly appreciate.
For one, it is not overly expensive/costly compared to similar payroll management systems. Next, it makes everything so much easier: it is efficiently organized and saves us a lot of time and headache, especially with its customization features. Lastly, it is very secure: the data is carefully integrated, and we have not encountered a single problem with this.
We use the expanded details tab in employee records to input sensitive information. We also use the OSHA tracking and reporting feature to monitor our compliance with their standards. We love it: it is so efficient in that we can use it to maintain payroll, human resources, and time and attendance all in one integrated system. It has also saved us so much time and energy. The office is also conveniently located, so we can call for assistance at any time.
I like that it is a cloud-based payroll system with advanced technology and individualized support. It can also be used in a mobile platform, which is great if we have to access the system remotely.
APS does not offer 24/7 live support, so it is not available to help if we are working late hours - something that often times happens. Maybe they could add an on-call person to contact for help on the weekends.
