Recommendations:

Make sure you have a Linux server. I hope Bluehost is replacing their older servers.

Experience:

We needed a company that could handle our increasing business needs so switched to Bluehost based on recommendation by a computer consultant. It has reasonable costs and unlimited hosting which is attractive given our budget. The only drawbacks we have found so far is it can be slow at times and their security has been reportedly hacked through. We added SSL and dedicated IP and are training in cloud services.

It is slow at times but better than what we had. Before we spend too much time and training on it, we are going to try to determine our needs in 5 years and switch to whoever can handle that increased activity. If Bluehost is just a quick fix, we will be changing. If they can handle us then we will stay because we are already becoming familiar with it.

Pros:

Price and unlimited hosting

Cons:

It is known to slow down, which is frustrating.

Recommendations:

I would highly recommend Bluehost to any medium to large sized company based on our company's experience with them.

Experience:

We needed exceptional service in a cloud hosting service. Bluehost provided the best alternative for our business in cost and serviced provided. We use all features including web hosting, mainframe backup, email, and cyber security features. It has performed excellently. It has freed up staff and provided us a convenient way to backup files and information.

Pros:

It has exceptional security features and the customer service is second to none.

Cons:

Don't really dislike any features, we just began the service so time will tell.
