I’m the senior technician and co-founder of Web Hosting Discussion. We’re an application and hosting company.

What was the business challenge your company was facing that initiated the need for this platform?

We needed a higher ability for our service because the Forex platforms we use should run 24/7. We were previously using another platform but our experience wasn’t good. It was causing problems for our applications because the service wasn’t 24/7 as we had expected. We found AccuWebHosting and we have been using them for over a year without any problems.

Was your company considering other platforms? Why this platform?

We searched for platforms that were available 24/7 and which had a lot of functionalities. We tried a few other hosting companies but we decided to go with AccuWebHosting because their server performance was good.

We spend $40–$50 per month.

What type of client is an ideal candidate? Who should possibly avoid these platforms?

You can rely on their services. Their support is very good and they’re available 24/7 by chat and telephone. No matter if you’re a big or small company, the main reason to choose a hosting company is for their infrastructure and support, which are the two most important things.

What cost factors should clients keep in mind when considering this tool?

They’re a little expensive but if you compare their support and other things, it’s negligible. We can get a lower price with another provider but we can’t get the same guarantee of support and service level.

Results

Can you share any success, metrics, or overall results of your implementation of this platform?

The main thing is that we get almost 100% of uptime every month for our services, which is great for our needs because we run Forex applications for our clients.

They could lower their price but their service is good.

I feel that we have a more secure hosting service and the uptime is good. On the one time that they had to recover data for me, their backups were intact and they delivered quickly.

They could improve their customer service in terms of communication, but otherwise, their delivery is good.
